1. Operator and scope

These terms govern the Koziołki Lubelskie mobile app, a walking exploration game about goat statues in Lublin. Operator: Valerii Kot; support: kot@valerii.eu. Read these terms and the separate Privacy Policy before using the service. The privacy policy does not waive your rights or constitute blanket consent.

2. Eligibility and access

You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement, or the authorization and supervision of a parent or guardian where required. The app requires a compatible device. Location and camera permission are needed to submit discoveries. Network connectivity is needed for server verification, synchronization, current rankings and uncached remote content. Your mobile or internet provider may charge for data.

The app creates a pseudonymous player session automatically; it does not require an email/password registration form. Protect access to your device. Reinstallation or loss of the device/session may make progress inaccessible; this version does not provide a guaranteed account-recovery or cross-device transfer process.

3. Game operation

Find statues, take a photo and submit a discovery near the statue. The current proximity threshold is 50 metres, subject to GPS accuracy and server validation. The photo is not automatically recognized. A local success while offline may be provisional and may be rejected when the server checks it later.

Statue locations, historical information, maps, audio and access conditions can be incomplete or change. A marker does not guarantee that a statue exists, is accessible or can safely be approached. Rankings and achievements are recreational, have no cash value and do not promise a prize. Demonstration ranking data, when shown instead of a live ranking, is labelled as such.

4. Safe and lawful use

Pay attention to roads, traffic, weather and your surroundings. Stop in a safe place before using the screen or camera. Do not use the app while driving, enter private or restricted property without permission, damage statues or disturb others. Supervise children. Photograph the statue and avoid including bystanders or private information unnecessarily. The app is not an emergency, accessibility-assessment or safety-navigation service. These responsibilities do not limit our obligations under applicable law.

5. Fair use

Do not impersonate others, use unlawful or abusive nicknames, manipulate location or verification evidence, interfere with the service, bypass security or misuse other people's data. Normal use of authorized accessibility tools is permitted. We may investigate abuse and proportionately restrict misuse or correct invalid progress, with an explanation and a way to contact support where appropriate and legally permitted. No automated enforcement capability is promised by this clause.

6. Content and licence

You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these terms, applicable law and the relevant app-store rules. We retain rights in original app material to the extent we own those rights. Maps, photographs, fonts, software and other third-party material remain subject to their own licences and attribution requirements. Credits in the app continue to apply. Do not remove required credits or redistribute protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

Your camera image remains yours; no ownership transfer is required. The current app processes it locally and submits a fingerprint rather than the image. You authorize the technical processing needed to provide the feature you request, subject to the privacy policy and applicable permissions.

7. Price and third-party services

The current app has no in-app purchases or subscriptions implemented. Its download price, if any, is the price shown by the store before acquisition. These terms do not authorize future charges. Any future paid feature would require separate pricing information and any legally required agreement. Map, hosting, media and device services may be unavailable, but using a provider does not remove our statutory responsibilities to you.

8. Support, changes and ending use

Send questions and complaints to kot@valerii.eu with the app version and a description of the issue. We will address complaints without undue delay and within applicable statutory deadlines. Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal data.

You may stop using the app at any time. Reset progress removes game progress as explained in the privacy policy; it does not close the server account. Contact support to request deletion of the account and associated data. Uninstalling alone does not remove server records.

We may update the app or these terms for security, legal requirements, changes to features or correction of errors. Material changes will be explained in advance where required, including any rights to reject changes or end the service. Changes do not operate retroactively. No term permits removal of mandatory rights or arbitrary discontinuation contrary to law.

9. Consumer rights, responsibility and disputes

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer remedies, responsibility for intentional misconduct or other mandatory protections. We do not promise uninterrupted service, perfect GPS accuracy, permanent access to every statue or error-free third-party content. These qualifications do not override statutory duties concerning the conformity, security or updating of digital services.

Any choice of law must preserve mandatory protections of your country of habitual residence where applicable. These terms do not impose exclusive foreign courts or mandatory arbitration on consumers. You may bring claims before courts competent under applicable law and use available consumer-resolution procedures.

10. Apple devices

These service terms are between you and the operator, not Apple. Apple's applicable store terms and licence terms also govern your use of an App Store copy. These terms supplement, and are not presented as a custom replacement for, Apple's standard app licence. Apple does not operate this exploration game. Mandatory consumer and app-store rights remain unaffected.
